    One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had at any store. I called the Abingdon, MD At Home location to follow up on an order I placed earlier because there were absolutely no updates. I received zero communication from the Roadie driver, which is another issue entirely. Even worse, my order doesn’t appear anywhere on At Home’s website, so I had no choice but to call the store directly. The person who said she was the store director, Jessica, made the entire situation even worse. From the second she answered the phone, she was instantly rude, very mean, unfriendly, sarcastic, and completely condescending. She pretended she wasn’t being rude, but the attitude was obvious. She acted annoyed that I was simply trying to understand where my missing order was. Her tone was dismissive, entitled, and showed zero interest in helping anyone extremely unprofessional behavior for someone in a leadership role. On top of that, the store gives no real information about your order, doesn’t follow up, doesn’t call back, and continually says everything is “out of their hands.” Between the unreliable Roadie service and the lack of accountability from the store itself, this was a truly terrible experience. At Home has officially lost me as a customer. Do better. If you want basic respect or actual service, I strongly recommend shopping somewhere else.

What is the At Home return policy?

No receipt? No problem!* Returns of unused items in the original packaging will be fully refunded within 60 days (90 days if you’re an Insider Perks member) with proof of purchase through your Insider Perks account or credit card or receipt and a valid ID. If your purchase cannot be verified, you’ll be issued a store credit based on the current price of the item(s). Christmas merchandise returned after December 25 will be refunded for the current price of the items, even with the original receipt. We do not provide exchanges. You're welcome to return any unwanted product and purchase new items. We are unable to accept returns on mattresses. We are unable to accept returns of pillows and cushions without all of their tags. We are unable to accept returns of items marked “All Sales Final”. Products delivered by one of our local delivery partners, including PICKUP, Roadie, and Door Dash, must be returned in-store. If an item you purchased is damaged or defective, please return it within 60 days to your nearest store for a refund.
