  Five Stars hands down for JYSK Garden City! I had a truly amazing experience there today and I’m beyond impressed with the extraordinary Customer Service I received from Abhi and a shoutout to Mike as well. Abhi was incredibly helpful, super knowledgeable and took time to assist me with everything I was looking for. I highly recommend dealing with Abhi and this location! The staff at this store and the Management really care about their customers and I will definitely be a repeat client.

  The staff here were beyond helpful and friendly. Thank you to Anna who took the time to check the inventory of the sofa we wanted and even reached out to other stores in the city for us so we can have it delivered the next day. Abih helped out to carry the mirror into the car. We’ll definitely come back here again!

  I had an easy, stress free experience buying a mattress here, all thanks to Abhi. Even though my budget was on the lower side, he treated me with respect and was genuinely happy to help. He even went the extra mile to give me a discount on top of the already good price. Great prices overall compared to other stores., but the amazing attitude of the staff is what will bring me back! If you go here, definitely ask for Abhi, he’s the best. Thanks again Abhi!! :)

  Had an all-round great experience at Jysk Winnipeg- Garden City Square late on December 11, 2025. I was looking for a mattress topper I had seen online and noticed an employee working at the desk in that section. Although he appeared to be busy with something, he immediately came to my aid when I asked for help locating the item in the store. He (Abhi) didn't just point me in the right direction, but rather, walked over and shared info about the item versus other options. He asked if I wanted to try the item to be sure, and took the time to ask me about the firmness of the mattress for which I'd be using the topper. He then placed the sample topper on the appropriate bed and waited patiently for me to try it out. He told me to take my time, and offered to bring out the alternatives if I wasn't sure. When I had made my choice, he sifted through and dug back on the shelf to find the appropriate topper, and then without hesitation or without needing to be asked, he said that he would bring it to the cashier now, unless there was something else that I was looking for that I might need help with. When we got to the cashier, we were greated by a smiling and cheerful young woman (Colleen D.). She asked if we had found everything that we were looking for, and when I responded "yes, thanks to the wonderful employee who had come to my aid", she provided us with his name and suggested leaving a review for him, providing us with a print-out as to how to leave a review. What a wonderful experience on a very cold evening in Winnipeg, despite being just a few hours before closing. Thank you Abhi and Colleen! You made our evening so much easier and pleasurable than what we were expecting on a late night, just 2 weeks before Christmas. We hope your employers know what a gem they have in each of you!

  Mike came through for us again! Simply super service in all aspects. We've gone to this Jysk location multiple times over the past 2+ years for furniture for my diabled sister. Each time Mike has helped us out tremendously and gone above and beyond - knowledgable, friendly, understanding of the challenges. I recommend this location 100% for quality service!!
