- NCNancy CushmanFeb 8, 20261.0Very disappointed in the management of Lowe’s Wareham, MA store. It took 6 months and 4 days off from work to finally get the correct storm door installed. The level of incompetence of Lowe’s management and the installer was beyond frustrating. Starting from day one there were mistakes after mistakes made. Wrong product number, incorrect measuring by installer, wrong door installed, correct door not available at store for installer to pick up on 3rd attempt of install, lack of communication to customer who was on her third day off from work waiting for installer. But was most disturbing is when I went to the store in early January to express my frustration and was put in touch with “corporate “ as was suggested by the department manager that they did not have the courtesy to respond to my complaint. They were paid in full in June, 2025 for a product that took 6 months and 4 days off from work to complete. The door was installed 4 days before Christmas in the snow!! I can not imagine ever having a kitchen remodel done by them if it took them 6 months to install a storm door. Buyer beware!!!

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
