Two stars because it's otherwise a good store, but when I was in the process of buying an exterior door, nobody spoke to me about installation charges. Once they measured the door I found out the installation would cost me twice what I can spend on it, so I had to cancel my order. I would have appreciated knowing these hidden fees up front.

I was trying to give one star but it turns out to be a 4 stars. I paid for the item with a free aditional item but the cashier did not included it on the sales so next day when I got a truck to pick it up then they said no free item because it is not in the receipt. My truck driver was like ok but it comes with it and I have to call and find out the cashier did not rang up the item properly. so manger came in and refund my driver the item then re purchase it. After all these work the batter is missing so he has to offer another brand for my dirver whick works out for rme but I do not like their lack of prosessional. I am not sure how this item works as I have not use it yet. I will seee. PS when I was at the store there is no one to help me after waiting for a few minutes I just take a photo of the item and went to pay for it. They are not at the floor where they shoudl be. I like home depot better.

bill in the tool department is a confrontational nut job. went to the boston road lowe’s to check and see if they would honor craftsman life time warranty on tool exchanges, the lady the service desk told me to go and check and see if they have the same tools i was exchanging ( old rachets) when i got to the tool department i was looking for about 2 minutes to find the correct rachets, when i found them bill from the tool department came waddling over immediately telling me i can’t exchange them, i said ok but im going to go double check with the service lady, this is when bill completely became enraged and started getting confrontational and acting like a big tough guy. he waddled over to the service desk and told the clerk not to let me exchange them then when i asked him why he is getting so mad he yelled “i’m not mad”.
i am a contractor and spend thousands at lowe’s every month. i have never been treated that way. i will be shopping at home depot from now on.
