They know people around here don’t have many options, so they jack up prices and exploit that. On top of that, the card system is another scam. Every other laundromat charges $1 to use a card — LaundroMax charges $3. So if you put $10 on the card, you only get $7 to actually wash clothes. They’re literally making money off the card itself, something that probably costs them 25 cents to produce. Overpriced machines, overpriced card fees, zero consideration for the people who rely on this place. This is a clear example of a business hurting the community instead of serving it. Absolute worst laundromat I’ve been to. Would avoid if there were any other option. Makes you seriously wonder who the owner is and how they justify this.
