    I purchased a gas range from Lowe’s and scheduled professional installation through Lowe’s Installation Services. The installation process was mishandled from the beginning and resulted in over two months of delays, misinformation, and a failed installation that left me without a working stove. For more than a month, Lowe’s stated that the delay was due to the town’s permitting process. I later confirmed this was inaccurate. On the scheduled installation date, the installer refused to complete the installation, claiming cabinet clearance issues. The installer then suggested dropping off the stove and having a friend install it without a permit, which I declined. I contacted the local building official to verify compliance. After reviewing the installation manual, with the town inspector he indicated there was no issue that prevented installation. Lowe’s Plainville, Lowes Installation, Lowes Corporate, provided misleading information, canceled the installation without resolution, and left me to coordinate between Lowe’s, the contractor, and the town. As a result, I experienced significant delays, inconvenience, and was left without a functioning appliance. Two months and no stove, no apology, no refund to date and all while local customer service is inept, corporate shrugs and says sue us. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM LOWES ANYTHING OF CONSEQUENCE.

    After looking at lawn mowers for a while I popped into Lowe's and met Leandro and Franky. I've went through seven lawn mowers in several years and none of them were the right fit. Franky/Leandro went above and beyond, were patient with questions and knowledgeable of their products. Happy with my Ego lawn mower purchase experience and it's ease of use. Thank you both! 5 Stars!

    I will never shop at Lowe’s again. Horrible customer service and the return policy is nowhere near as clear to understand as Home Depot. First, “the system” declined the return because it was registering it as colored paint. I explained that it is ceiling paint from the shelves, not colored. Then it was declined for being 4 days over the 30 days (I thought it was 90 days). I asked for a merchandise credit and was told that wasn’t an option either. I asked for the manager. I waited 15 minutes until the nice woman at returns had to call for the manager again. She wasn’t even going to come out to speak to me to answer my questions and made the clerk relay the same information back to me over the phone. When I asked to have the manager come out to fully explain the policy, she then appeared very quickly but was short and not friendly. She blamed “the system.” I pointed out the sign at the counter that says returns/merchandise credit without a receipt are subject to manager discretion. I asked to start a new transaction and forget about the receipt. I was told that now that they knew I had a receipt, she wouldn’t do it. So if I hadn’t shown my receipt, I could have had the option to get a merchandise credit? I asked if she was using her discretion to deny my return- her response then turned back to “the system.” I then asked if I went to another Lowe’s if they would be able to override it and she said that would be up to the manager’s discretion at that location. Unbelievably confusing and not willing to try options to help a customer.
