- DXDebra Xenos4 days ago1.0Back in October I asked Billy Sweet chimney sweep to clean and inspect my wood insert and chimney. The two technicians didn't know what they were doing. In fact, one of them broke off a rusted screw and said I needed a new bottom shield. At that point, I had to reschedule the appointment so they could fix the piece that needed replacing and continue to clean and inspect the chimney. I was told that the manager would be there to assist in this process. Unfortunately, only the two inexperienced technicians came for the second time. They said they could clean the chimney without pulling the wood insert out. They swore to me that the insert was CLEAN and it was safe to use. With that said, weeks later I started a fire in my insert and the house filled with smoke. It turns out that the damper was clogged with black soot. Thankfully, I immediately put the fire out and have not used it since. I put a phone call into the company and the receptionist was very sorry to hear this. And said she would look into this. Well I finally got an appointment but they are making me wait till January 17 almost three weeks later. Honestly I just want my money back at this point. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE A BUNCH OF HACKERS! I will never use this company again. Sincerely, A very unsatisfied customer
