Don’t use Billy Sweet Chimney Sweep. I had a cleaning and inspection done by this company in 2025. I was told by Billy Sweet Chimney Sweeps that the chimney needed to be completely rebuilt, at a cost of $30,000 to safely use the fireplace. Recently,, I had it inspected by another company, Aiello Chimney, out of Gloucester. This very reputable company said there were only minor repairs which cost less than $500, and that the cleaning performed by the previous company was incomplete, as evidence by a great deal of debris they removed. I was able to use the fireplace after the second company performed their service. I highly recommend Aiello for chimney service.
