- CJCole JilekFeb 4, 20261.0I ordered online four units of a small travel bathroom product that I hoped to take on a trip I leave for tomorrow. The delivery options may not have made it in time for my trip, so I elected to go to this store in person. Online, it said that the store had this item in stock, and the morning after my order, I got a notifcation that the order had been filled and was ready for pickup. Only after arriving at the store and being handed the items was I told that they, in fact, did not have four of the item I ordered in stock. They only had two. The employee told me not to worry, I could come back and pick up the remaining two units 10 days later from the store. First of all, I am about to leave for the trip that I wanted these items for. Second of all, who has time to ferry back and forth from The Container Store (which is only open from 10-7 on weekdays) multiple times to collect different parts of a $50 order? I ultimately had to make a phone call to customer service to cancel the rest of my order. What a waste of time. Safe to say I will not be ordering from The Container Store again. Very negative experience.

Asked the woman working in custom design closet section, who was working with someone, if there were any other employees who might be able to tell me where a product was located. She said there were not. I then found someone coming out of the back but I didn’t get to ask my question before he said he was sorry but he could not help me because he was working on something else. Left without buying anything.

Placed an order and waited a month for the pickup date, the date came and it changed to delayed with no ETA, called and was told tomorrow it’ll be ready. Called again the next day since it still said delayed and they told me it was unavailable and not coming, and they can cancel and refund me. Huge waste of my time, mind you I paid for it a month ago. Wish I could give 0 stars.
