It was dead. I went to Lowe’s to buy a new fridge and asked if they could discount the price it cost me to pay the repair man to come ($160) or at least include the warranty at no cost. Considering the fridge only lasted 3 years, I thought this was a reasonable request. They refused to negotiate anything. I brought the receipt to show them when I purchased the original fridge and other receipts from many other appliances I’ve purchased but to no avail. Clearly they don’t care to keep loyal customers. I will never shop there again.
