  WOW! PLEASE do not pass up this amazing company! On Duty Chimney Masonry Stove went above and beyond. Technician Zachary, took his time explaining the wood stove and how it functions. (The stove world is new to me) and solved my issue. I asked Zach if he would check out roof and chimney. There was NO pressure trying to sell services that he explained would be needed to the future. Zach provided many options for future repairs. I will always use this company!

  Every step of the way, both on site technicians and management at OnDuty Chimney have been extremely knowledgeable, professional, diligent, and wonderful to work with, and I’ve also been extremely impressed with their detailed photo documentation (of both the inside and outside of our chimneys and flues) and the transparency of reports throughout the process, documenting and thoroughly explaining both existing conditions and work completed. It feels great going into the winter with such confidence in the state of our chimneys and flues. Sincere thanks to everybody at OnDuty that we’ve worked with, and we look forward to a continued maintenance relationship in the years to come.

  I had my gas fireplace cleaned and inspected, and I’m extremely happy with the service. The technician was thorough and professional from start to finish. He not only cleaned the fireplace beautifully, but also checked the vent pipe and all the internal components to make sure everything was operating safely and properly, and answered all my questions. It feels great knowing the fireplace is in working order for the season. Highly recommend!

  We have been using On Duty Chimney Service for the last 10 years, first for our fireplace cleanings and now for our pellet stove cleaning and maintenance. They are always very professional and respond promptly to email requests. Our recent pellet stove cleaning and maintenance was done by Ben M. He was very nice and did a great job.   On duty is very well-organized. The technicians are knowledgeable and very professional. Johnathon performed cleanings and a very thorough inspection of 3 flues, explaining what he was doing and providing pictures to highlight issues that required attention. We then received the quote with some options we felt we would hold up on. This was an easy conversation with no pressure and the new quote arrived and we moved forward a week later. The team of Christian, Jacob and Lucus arrived at the time committed for 3 solid days of work – with 2 of them being very long days due to some extra attention the chimney required in order for the liners to be inserted. They explained everything they were doing or going to do each step of the way. Christian was so professional and so chill making sure we felt comfortable with everything they were doing. As the process unfolded we realized that we needed to go back to the original quote suggestion for a new chimney crown and cap. There was no pressure on us doing this but in the end it made sense and right thing to do for them to finish off the project. Christian and Jacob returned for the final capping today – it looks soo good! Prior to leaving they made sure we didn’t have any additional questions or concerns. Such a positive experience from start to finish! We would absolutely recommend On-Duty and their team of professionals for cleaning, repairs and new inserts. We were very impressed with each of the team members we dealt with and are so happy with the end results.
