- MDMaxwell DavenportNov 13, 20251.0I do not recommend using Extra Space in Dedham. The customer service and ease of setting up an account was great. From there, it was all downhill. About a month into our rental, our storage unit was broken into, things were stolen, and a lock was changed on one of the two doors. I was abysmally disappointed with how they handled it and their lack of caring- cameras apparently only cover entry and exit points- meanwhile they say it’s too expensive to have more cameras but charge $330+ for a small unit… They couldn’t care less about the robbery and said that they could do nothing about it and to just call the insurance people. Typical abysmal lack of security and attention to detail in the 21st century at its best.
