- SMSarah McAuliffeFeb 1, 20261.0Well, we were happy with our experience here until today. We showed up to our unit totally tossed, ceiling wires cut, and a bunch of missing items. Funny enough, we had been nervously laughing on the way to our unit about how the front doors were opening without a code… I could not find any after hours number, so we called the police. An officer showed up and informed us that there was a break-in nearly three weeks ago. I recalled a voicemail from the company three days after the break-in date, which I assumed was about our rate increasing (from $116 to $170) because it was so nonchalant and there was no follow up call or attempt to call my husband. It’s amazing to me that they made one single attempt to contact me, giving no indication of a problem. I’m also shocked that they’ve just left my unit damaged and did not repair the roof where the burglars cut. And, to top it all off, the police officer told us that the company was not cooperative at all during the investigation…why you wouldn’t cooperate with an entity attempting to keep your company secure is beyond me. Needless to say, we won’t be staying a moment longer than we have to, and after this experience I wouldn’t recommend anyone else use this facility either. Another fun tidbit, I got an email while we were cleaning up the aftermath of the break-in. “Thanks for your payment!” I’m glad they can email me promptly about money.
