    Highly recommend you don not purchase appliances here. First experience was with a fridge. Had to convince delivery person that ot could on fact be done safely 3 different ways. Literally the same size fridge we had. It came in with ease, delivery person simple didn’t want to go up one flight of stairs. 2nd experience, paid for a dishwasher 12/22. As of 1/02 hadn’t heard anything wasn’t upset I know there were two holidays in but wanted to inquire so I called Lowes Customer service, dealt with the annoying auto andwer finally got to sit on hold. When customer service rep finally picked up she said we were waiting on a permit from county. I explained that had to be a mistake as Norfolk county doesn’t issue permits the town does and that I know for a fact (new construction and renovation is the field I am in) that a permit is not required for a dishwasher replacement so the install was never going to happen if they were waiting for a response on a permit application. Lowes customer service could only tell me “that’s what the installer has it marked as” There was no “let me look into it” or let me get someone who can help” So I requested to speak to subcontractor directly. (shouldn’t be my job I purchased from Lowes). Que another waste of half an hour on the phone with installers 800 number. The person I spoke with could only look up information, could not follow up or actually try to fix anything. She told me that there was no management working. She said she would email management, I asked to be cc’d so I could follow up and was told “that’s isn’t allowed”. So a simple clerical error somewhere that could have been corrected easy enough was going to die in perpetuity waiting for a permit that would never be issued. I told her to cancel the install, she told me to call Lowes (apparently I am the liason between Lowes and installer in both directions, she obviously could care less about the cancelation). Called Lowes back, cancelled they also could obviously care less. Will be going to a competent local appliance installation company.

    Worst Lowes I have been to, worst delivery system, always inform customer that order would be home same day but never happen so we decided to switch order to "curbside pick up", came to the spot, was told to wait for assistant, 10 mins passed, 15 mins passed, no one came for us. We walked inside the store, spoke to a lady, all she said was " ur order is too big and heavy, need to go to "heavy duty department". OMG, WHY NO ONE EVEN CARE TO TELL US ABOUT THIS? WHY WAIT UNTIL WE CAME INSIDE THE STORE TO ASK BECAUSE WE HAD TO WAIT FOR ALMOST 20 MINS IN THE CAR? Definitely we will never come back to this Lowes.
