My trip started out great — I found so many cute goodies for my cat-themed bathroom and was genuinely excited about everything I picked out. I had quite a bit in my cart, and everything was going smoothly until I got to checkout. After everything was rung up, I was told they don’t accept tap to pay. I didn’t realize that, so I politely asked if they could set my items aside while I ran home to grab my bank card. (For reference, my house is literally three minutes away.) The cashier told me she would suspend the transaction and keep my items at the register for when I came back. I left immediately, went straight home, grabbed my card, and returned. After waiting in line again, I was told that as soon as I left, they put all my items back on the shelves. No apology. No explanation. Just “you’ll have to go get it again.” There was no offer to help regather the items — nothing. At that point, I said don’t worry about it, just forget it. The response I got was simply, “Okay, that’s fine,” which honestly made it feel like my business didn’t matter at all. It wasn’t about the inconvenience as much as it was the lack of communication and basic courtesy. If I had been told they couldn’t hold my items, I would have understood. But being told one thing and then experiencing the complete opposite — without even an apology — was frustrating and disappointing. I really enjoy shopping here, but customer service like this makes it hard to want to come back.
