  not a fan of their changing prices per month. An ongoing issue, as one month it will be the rate I signed for… two months later, it changes to double. I have been given the explanation of “our prices change, with the monthly local rate?” Contracts are month to month, only I believe. So, I see how this corporation operates. I highly recommend, reading the contract. Go with other storage unit facilities, that do not have fluctuating monthly fees. You sign on, for the low price& prices raise… months, later. The only way I caught this was, the difference being deducted from autopay. Precaution, to those seeking storage space. Do not do the autopay option. I will be moving out, soon. Twice, this has happened & that’s enough.

  DO NOT STORE YOUR STUFF HERE!!! My best friend just discovered that all of her valuables had been stolen and replaced with someone else’s trash. They went through the hardware on the door. It was evident from looking at the door it had been tampered with and if the property management was doing even quick rounds they would have noticed it. She was never informed and who knows how long she has been paying to store a thief’s trash. When she reported it they did not offer a refund, nor did they seem surprised by this event. As someone’s whose family has worked in the storage facility property management world this is unacceptable and lazy. Store here at your own risk.

  All of my daughter's stuff stolen and they, Extra Storage Space could care less. I'm sure there are cameras and they could compensate. DO NOT STORE YOUR STUFF HERE. She is new to New Orleans and moved from the West Coast. And it is GONE. Antiques, Family Heirlooms, Christmas decorations from childhood. Journals, personal photos, Art and all those thing we lovingly put in storage for when we have space. THEFT is worse than fire. SHAME ON YOU Extra Storage Space. Your customers need to know you don't care. File a police report. ... Next. Hope you are not NEXT!!!!

  All of my stored belongings and irreplaceable life and family mementos were stolen from me at this location. The Bolts holding the lock were cut through, and no employee ever called in the span of potentially MONTHS to let me know the lock was damaged and entry forced. What's even weirder was the theifs put someone else's worthless garbage in my storage locker - it seems like a coordinated theft that likely happens regularly. Don't leave your stuff here, they will take it all and look at what's in the boxes later, and you'll never get any of it back

  DO NOT STORE YOUR STUFF HERE. While my lock was secure, someone popped the hardware on the door the lock was secured to out and stole everything from me. My valuables and deeply sentimental items are gone, and extra space storage does not care. I was handed a pamphlet for insurance that covers up to 2k and told they would file a police report but they won't share any of that information with me. I guess I also just have to eat the cost I paid to store my items that were stolen for months as well, no refund is offered. They did not seem shocked or surprised, and I suspect this happens often. If you care about what you're storing do not use extra space, it is not safe or secure. I learned a really hard lesson and lost things money can't buy back, please learn from me and avoid at all cost.
