- HCHope ClarkeFeb 27, 20261.0I had a storage unit for over a year and moved out last month. I did not receive any instructions or communication about the move out until after I had moved out. Despite me leaving numerous voicemails saying that I was no longer in town and would not be able to return to complete their move-out instructions, they have continued to charge me. I am finally able to call and get a real person today, and Kirk began yelling at me as soon as I told him my name. I asked him to stop yelling at me, and as soon as I started to ask what was the problem and try to explain what had happened, he started again with raising his voice and being condescending and rude. This cannot be the first time this situation has occurred, the default cannot be just assuming that the customer is trying to get something or do something malicious to you- it's just wrong. Kirk, You are a horrible customer service agent, a horrible manager, and probably a horrible person. To escalate things like this as soon as I told you my name, was so unprofessional and rude. There was absolutely no reason to treat me like this. I can't wait to see what nonsense you try to respond here with to justify not even being able to have a conversation with a customer. I couldn't even ask a single question without him literally yelling at me. I get that people are normally probably super mad about this when it happens, but I was just trying to figure out what the options are. For anyone else, Go elsewhere. This was after rate increases that weren't outlined when I signed up, and a full year of paying those fees. They've gotten so much money for me for literally nothing and to behave this way when I was just trying to figure out what we could do to resolve things is disgusting.
