I bought some flashing, and a sheet of wood to fix something. I checked out only to find out the board was a few inches too wide to get through the back end of my suv.and a foot too long. I was going to call my husband for his truck , then realized I lost my phone in the store. I back tracked everywhere i went and could not find it. The two young men who worked in the check out for the building supplies were extremely friendly and went overboard to help with me not having to return the board. They offered to cut it to fit, but did one better and cut it to just a little over the size I needed. I wish i had gotten their names but they were there around 11:45am. While my board waa being cut to size, i went to customer service and talked to Cherie. I left my phone description, number wtc. Cherie went way beyond what she needed to do. She walked around the store in the areas I had been,calling my phone. She found it! Lowes, you have a treasure in these three employees. What could of turned into an all around bad trip there, was made wonderful due to your employees.
