- DSDyani SahrNov 30, 20201.0Update of my original review: After leaving this review and filing a complaint with the company, I took a video of my pool pump and personally took it up to leslie’s. They determined that it was, in fact, broken and needed a replacement motor. They also settled the issue with the $125 charge. This is by far the worst pool company I have ever dealt with. Ronnie at this store is rude and will do everything in his power to rip you off with his friend (Steve Counts) that he tells you that you have to use as the contractor for installation and repair of pool pumps. I bought a pump about a year and a half ago and about a month ago it started operating way louder than normal. It is still under warranty so Ronnie told me that I had to have Steve go out and fix the motor. They filed the warranty claim and ordered the new motor for the pump and then claim that Steve went to my house and determined that nothing is wrong with the pump. Now I’m being charged $125 for a service call when no service was performed and they kept the motor that they received from my warranty claim. This isn’t the first negative experience I’ve had with this store. I will definitely never buy from Leslie’s again.
