I made a purchase on 12/24 Christmas Eve, I bought the wrong item and attempted to return it on Saturday 12/27 but was denied the return because they said it was past the 48hr return window. How is this past the 48hr return window when business could be conducted on one of those days due to them being closed? I have no problem with such a short return window, the problem is them counting the day they were closed as a business day.

Recently, on December 17th, I purchased a Larson Bismarck storm door online, order 300902351254183890, and picked it up at this store. It is 20 miles from my home and up and back with time inside usually takes 2 hours. Yesterday, on Christmas Day I put it up on sawhorses to install on my patio door and when I open the box, I find its missing hardware. No mounting screws, no latch, no shock damper. Contacting Lowe's chat I was told that because it was picked up in-store they cannot ship me out the missing hardware. I no longer have the box, the door is now leaned against the wall in the garage with the three jamb pieces, the sweep, and instructions. So now I'll either have to get the parts directly from Larson, which will take weeks, or schlep this thing back 20 miles with my trunk strapped shut and see if they'll accept it for exchange with no box. Thank you very little.
