    If I can give this store a zero stars I will. Honestly I think the really be trying to rip ppl off. Now I never had no problems with the manager misty are any others but 1. I dont kno how others are with Misty but she talks with respect and explain stuff and have figure out something right that I have said. But this Mr. James guy he doesnt need to wrk in customer service he has the most nasty attitude then when u snap back on him for antagonizing ppl he wanna play victim. I called cause I payed my in January on time which was the 15th and it was $49. and some change. But my bill is $59.22 due on the 3rd week of every month. I could pay more than are less than the $49. So im like will maybe i payed to much and they caught where they was trying to say that I didnt pay since November and had to clear them on that cause that time I was out of wrk and my aunt paid it but I had a computer also on there which only had another month. So they was saying both of my items where over 20 days amd how when the washer is due on the 3rd week every month. So I paid it no mind and caught up. Now mind u they cal l Ed everyday when it didnt get paid. So when its paid and caught up no calls. Here I go paying in February 2026 on the 16th but due on the 19th I see a late fee I call and first off it went left. I call and thinking the person who told me how can I help u first your last name left me on hold 15mins then her comes the mr. James person who never said his name tell u how I found out In a second. I explain to him he gone say u due on the 1st of the month I stated no im not online and clearly I wasnt aware of that yall can call everyday to get your money but cant call and state that your due date has move up with my permission are knowledge im not paying not $8 late fee this ninja gone say ok we just come schedule a pick up for tommorrow and yes I stated ninja u come to my house u died playing with me frfr. Just nasty dont care and didn't even try to see my side just jump into his attack mode and me too. So I call the holiness to the person explain to them even what I told him I was angry and cursing cause this is always something with aarons for me. She politely said ma'am im sorry but for me to help u help me help me help u please refrain frm the profanity I stated yes ma'am sorry but this ninja got me hot. And explain to her since calls are recorded that person is going to get hurt playing with ppl. And what I stated was a promise not a threat cause he antagonize ppl with his attitude. Didn't kno his name until I called bk and ask a go worker of his after I ask for misty so if this not his name the co worker lied. But this store is worst and honestly the company is no better

    We went in on Thursday rented a washer was told by the sales manager ( Colby) that he would try to have it delivered the next day. I didn't get the washer till Tuesday and we were also told by him that the delivery man would remove the old washer. He did not! I had to have the man leave the washer on my porch till I could find someone to help me remove the old washer. If I had known that I wouldn't have rented the washer. Thanks for nothing!

    This store doesn’t deserve even 1 star. Misty the general manager of this Lake Charles,La store is absolutely the worst! I guess it doesn’t take customer service ability to get this job. Misty sure doesn’t have an ounce of it! Also, let me just add. The delivery manager/store manager (I was told was his title) expressed how he gets to use corporate money, company vehicles and gas to do personal things on company time. How he was getting to pick up a fridge from another Aaron’s store brand new for 50 dollars and it was 3 hrs 1 way. That was why my stuff wouldn’t be delivered till later Monday or even possibly Tuesday. If this was happening to me. I’m sure other peoples deliveries have been delayed and backed up as well. Basically he enjoyed bragging about his said manager position as he informed me if I ever needed an appliance to just let him know.Come Tuesday morning my delivery had not yet come so I called to confirm it was still coming. Misty, then lies saying the delivery man waited for over 20 min at my home. They couldn’t reach me. My phone records will prove this bull wrong! So when I called to get delivery rescheduled I was put on hold by Shelby for over 29 min and talked to so rude it was ridiculous. So come the 30 min mark I hung up. During all this Misty never gave a crap about my identity and discussed my acct with someone not on my acct. She then closed it and then told Corporate her life was threatened. I don’t think she could tell the truth if she tried. I will be speaking to an attorney over her and the store. As they did no verification and spoke to someone not on my acct. then closed my acct and flagged while on the phone with this person that is not on my acct. I was told it was because she was the manager and could do that. I was told it was at her discretion. My attorney will be pulling calls and they will find out who exactly the one was that got threatened in this situation and I can truly say it sure wasn’t her life! Also, due to my privacy and acct being violated, closed and flagged. I do NOT RECOMMEND AARONS AND ESPECIALLY NOT THIS STORE. If my privacy and acct can be violated with Misty as the manager and the one who did this, I simply just worry and think of all the others who are customers already at this store. I sure hope they haven’t been done wrong like I was. Not to mention I am a past customer who did business with this company for several yrs. Dropping almost if not more than 200 a wk at times. Being I just got back to the lake Charles area after being in another state due to my veteran husband going through chemo and radiation at a VA hosp since 2022. We moved with out having a lot. So we needed to furnish our new home. Meaning we were gonna be dropping over 400 a mth here. Yes, call us stupid! Aaron’s this is how you let a United States Veteran and his wife get treated at your store! What a great THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE SIR!! Aaron’s you need to do better and my attorney will be sure this happens! No this is no threat. It’s a promise as you can’t just get away with letting your employees treat others in such a manner including letting their privacy and all kinds of important information in their accts be violated. Talked to and treated in such a poor way. Great Customer Service ability everyone has at this store! A call was put in twice to corporate and I was promised a call back from the regional manager. Didn’t happen so I called him. Still no call back. So corporate was called again and this time promised a district manager would call back. We will see if that happens. Tomorrow 10/9 will be 24 hrs. On this one. 1 wk later -Never got a return call from any upper management. Guess that says a lot about bout why this business is ran like it is! All I can say is I will let everyone I know that Aaron’s is not a place to purchase from and certainly not a place that cares about their veteran customers. Good job Aaron’s and way to go caring about those who fought for you and this country.By the way I have some money needing refunded! My attorney will be in touch!

    Went in to try and find a mattress. Had to ask to be helped, after filling out an online application and being approved we waited for over 15 minutes while one employee sat in an office with no customers, one on the phone and 2 walking around us. Not one person acknowledged us, so we left

    I am very dissatisfied with Aaron’s. I rented a zero turn mower last Thursday August 28th. I was told 7 to 10 business days. It has to come from Mississippi. Well it arrived at Aaron’s in Lake Charles Wednesday the 3rd. But guess what. They cannot deliver it until Friday the 12th. And they will not allow us to pick it up because the correct address is not on the license. Doesn’t matter had the electric bill and direct tv bill. Total dissatisfaction. I promise if I can find another company to meet my needs before the 12th I will use them and cancel Aaron’s.
