While I was there, I also purchased $100 worth of items in-store and tried to use a "$20 off of $100 in-store purchase" coupon. It didn't work at self-checkout, so I went to Customer Service and it became very apparent that the customer isn't always right. The woman at the counter was very helpful and patient, but couldn't figure out why the coupon wouldn't work. She brought out a cashier manager who was rude, whispered to her, and wouldn't even look me in the eye. She told me 2 or 3 different reasons why the coupon wasn't working, but upon showing her the fine print on the coupon, those weren't the reason. She walked away. I stood there for 20+ minutes and nobody could figure it out, so I decided to get a refund and take my $ back to Lafayette where I don't run into any issues. It was a very odd feeling at the counter, and I was treated by the older manager lady like I was being dishonest with her... which is absurd. Poor customer service and inability to honor a coupon that Lowe's had sent me. I won't be going back to Crowley, for sure.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
