I am a former customer of Aaron’s – Chalmette (8700 W Judge Perez Dr., Ste M, Chalmette, LA). I purchased a front-load washer and dryer set from your store, specifically from the brand LG. Within one month of use, the dryer failed and ceased working. I contacted the store seeking a resolution. The store provided a loaner dryer; however, it was a white top-load model of markedly lower quality, and not equivalent to the LG front-load unit I had originally acquired. Now, three years later, the store manager has consistently refused to replace the original LG front-load dryer. In the meantime, I have made multiple contacts with Aaron’s Corporate (only two of these resulted in any substantive response and both led nowhere). The lack of resolution has resulted in a highly frustrating, unsatisfactory customer service experience. Based on this experience, I feel compelled to advise prospective customers to avoid purchasing any items from Aaron’s. My experience suggests that if a serious issue occurs—even when payments are being made—the store will not honor a reasonable replacement or resolution.

Please.... make no mistake about it... the ONLY reason why one star is selected is because I had to make a selection to begin this review.. THIS LOCATION IS WORTHY OF NO STARS!!!!! I went into this location 4 days before my birthday party this year to PURCHASE a sound system. I have ALWAYS purchased merchandise from this franchise and paid for each item FLAT OUT so I saw no reason why on this most important occassion that I should do anything differently. I was met by an associate named, Brandy.. who was kind and showed me all of my options. I decided on a system and within minutes Brandy has taken my app, called my references, and told me that the store manager whose name is Ashanti, would be in later that evening to do "paperwork" (her words) and that she would approve my rental. I was more than clear that I needed delivery BY FRIDAY. Thursday comes and there's NO WORD from Ashanti, as she is the one responsible for approval of all merchandise leaving her facility. On the Friday before my BIG DAY, I called to verify delivery. My salesperson from the other day answers the phone, places me on hold for over 8 minutes. When someone returns, I am told that they are trying to "figure out what happened" and would call me back within a few minutes. I proceeded to take care of some additional checkpoints for my event and reached back out to the location an hour and half later. The same associate answers and calls me by name and states that a manager would be on the line to speak to me. A manager, who never gave his name, states to me that the store manager had not worked my order, was not in the location, but when she arrived, she would be letting me know whether or not she was going to get my purchase to me that day or on my birhtday.. which was MORE than unacceptable. I discussed with him my emotions over the matter, and he ASSURED me that he would reach out to me PERSONALLY.. he confirmed information that was outdated to me which infuriated me even more because I had all information updated when I entered the franchise on Wednesday. He behaved as though they had NO RECORD of me. I constantly found myself telling him information that should have been at his disposal. I returned to work from my errands and after 3 hours, the store manager calls me. She interacts with me in a way that does NOT indicate the slightest form of remorse NOR does she indicate why it has taken them all day to respond to me. To save face, I told her that I had moved on to another vendor, but in reality, I had a party without any music thanks to the inconsiderate, condescending, antics of a hapless store manager and her inept and incompetent team. I am still seeking information on how to report this events to their regional department head. I invested a lot of money with these people and deserved to be treated with a greater deal of respect and courtesy. Do NOT do business with this company!
