I promise I’m not trying to be a jerk, just here me out. Every single time I try to buy the “reject” paints, there’s an un-scannable bar code on them. The cashiers are always so rude when I ask them to put in their employee code so they can ring it up. They get so annoyed about it, and it happens every single time I come in. If it’s such a big deal, please just find a workaround that doesn’t make everyone miserable. I’m so tired of the cashiers at this Lowe’s, bro. It makes me not want to come here for paint at all. If you can’t scan it, please stop selling it 😭

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order.
