- AGAlan GoochApr 1, 20262.0Comments are for basic copy of deadbolt key. The cut of the keys seems to work well, but bent way too easily (ie, not very strong) with locks that are not in brand new condition, which is a bit of a bummer. My brand new key bent some on the second application. The key that came with the deadbolts (which I copied from) I use has never bent in any way after years of use. These machines are a nice convenience, but I would not purchase again, just fyi.
