I get to the store an hour or so later and as I ask for the item a guy pulls the lady working the counter in the back, after a minute she comes out and rings me up at $22.95. I asked about the $16 price I was just quoted on the phone, she says their was a price increase. IN THE LAST HOUR?!? I go ahead and buy the item anyway, I try and support local business when I can. Well I paid for doing it this time. A month goes by before I actually put the cover on. I get the cable out and it is for a smaller pool and isn't big enough to reach all the way around my pool cover. I had told her I had a 24 foot pool when I made the purchase and she had said what I purchased would do up to a 30 foot pool. I put the cable back in the package and drive across town. I go in and explain the situation to the lady. She asks if I have my receipt, I tell her that I do not. She then tells me "no receipt, no exchange". I tell her they sold me the wrong item and that I just want the right length cable, all she would do was repeat "no receipt, no exchange". Now this wasn't a big purchase, but it is just bad service. I went back across town and bought the right cable at another store. I had heard they had poor customer service and that is what I experienced. Take your business to any other pool place in town.
