There was a sticker on it that said the control board had been replaced. We took it to the elderly couple it was bought for & got it all hooked up. It didn’t work. The control board was bad - the very thing the sticker said had been replaced. We tried to return the washer but was told that “as-is” can’t be returned. We were also told that they don’t repair any appliances when they are returned, but instead they are put on the floor to be sold broken. I don’t mind broken if you tell me it’s broken & if I’m not paying over $200 for it. I asked what I was supposed to do about the $200 junkyard metal I now owed & she said she didn’t know. I asked how Lowe’s can get away with selling broken items for $200, especially when it’s marked as repaired/replaced & nothing was ever fixed. Isn’t that false advertising? This store absolutely refused to make anything right. That’s ok - we took it to another Lowes location & they said that it can be returned within 48 hrs & gladly refunded our money. Do better Morehead Lowes & shame on you for ripping off your customers.
