I use Lowe’s a lot for appliances and home improvement, typically in Lexington. I was thrilled to know London has a Lowe’s. However, it’s been a huge disappointment shopping the London Lowe’s. So much so, I ordered many thousands of dollars of products from Lexington after a few trips to the local London store. Plumbing dept. is a mess. Bins with fittings are the worst I’ve experienced with most bin boxes not having the fittings in them that are supposed to be there. Customers are generally to blame as some just toss stuff into whatever bin after pulling and looking at them…so put things back in the correct bin folks! …...but, Lowe’s staff need to check and organize bins. They obviously are not doing this. Very frustrating, and now Amazon is my go to for many parts, not Lowe’s. Shame, as I like to shop local. Other issues with items showing on web site showing they are stock, only to go and find them not. So difficult to call and speak to a real person. This happens a lot, and also just standard items not in stock at London. Closest store with stock in 58 minutes away in Somerset, which I’m heading there at 5:00am for 6:00 opening to get some plumbing parts not in stock in London…again. Others in area, including my contractor have voiced the same issues, and avoid the London Lowes. Sure hope things turn around there.
