    Her name is Carolyn Young, and she works at Lowe’s on Nicholasville Road — and when I say her customer service is outstanding, I truly mean that. I was her first customer of the day, and I had a LOT of questions. I’m working on a flower bed for a shaded area, trying to grow grass, and also getting materials for projects connected to my nonprofit, Little Red Blessing Food Box. Carolyn took her time with me and walked me through everything with patience, knowledge, and kindness. While she was helping me, multiple people kept calling her name — I later found out she had been on leave, which is why I hadn’t seen her the last few times I visited. Clearly, she was missed! Even with all the attention she was getting, she stayed focused on helping me first, just like true customer service should be. She politely acknowledged everyone else and let them know she would assist them shortly or directed them to other staff. But the truth is, everyone wanted Carolyn — because she’s just that good. Her professionalism, her attitude, and her dedication stood out in such a big way. I even told her, “I wish you could train people all over the world on how to treat customers!” Carolyn Young is, without a doubt, Customer Service Employee of the Year for 2026. With 20 years at Lowe’s, she knows her job — and it shows. Lowe’s management and leadership, please recognize and take care of Carolyn Young. She is a true asset to your team! And just to be clear — Carolyn is not “the man”… she is THE WOMAN! Thank you, Carolyn, for making my experience amazing!

    I think I wish they could give ten stars because this guy and this place deserves ten stars. I bought a new Toro mower from this location. I Had a small issue that the manager, Prince quickly and easily made into a non issue! He pulled 2 or 3 strings (at least) to make it right by me.His support and service along with his whole team , Natalie and Nicole are right on board. The customer service mindset and my level of satisfaction at this this location is exceedingly, excelsior and very excellent. Buying a very expensive mower at this location is the right choice for sure!!!

    Im not going to wait at the pickup kiosk to check myself in and then pray someone shows up so they can save a few bucks paying someone to work there.

    Lowe’s is the absolute worst. I put in an order that was supposed to be ready for pick up last night. I’m not able to make it to the store until 2pm today and it’s still not ready. Now they are telling me they don’t have everything in stock. This is the 3rd time in 2 months that Lowe’s has let me order something claiming it was in stock on line only for them to only fulfill a portion of the order. If it wasn’t for my company insisting on using Lowe’s for specific things I’d never shop here again. Absolutely the worst Home improvement store there is.
