I purchased a chair for close to much higher than I would normally pay, but I’ve always loved the La-Z-boy chairs I grew up with so I swallowed the price… This was the first one I’d purchased for myself. Sales consultant made it easy and chair was delivered 2 weeks later. Skip forward 10 days; I sit on my throne and CRACK!! Chair bottom busts. Clearly a knot in the wood. All forums/ Reddit threads I read say I’m out of luck, that this stuff happens and they don’t take care of you. I couldn’t have found that further from the truth when I called and spoke to Ken, the SM. He assured me this was not normal, offered to refund my money or to fix despite it being beyond the window. I took the chair there today and he fixed it himself. As I write this review I sit in blissful comfort upon my new throne, content in the fact that I have someone to take care of me for all my future butt-cushioning needs. Bravo, 10000 stars!
