We ordered a refrigerator from Lowe’s and they sent a notification saying it will arrive between 8am-12pm! We woke up early, skipped church and by 12pm they still haven’t arrived! When I called the store at 12pm I was told they were 3 stops away! Which could take another hour or 2??? Poor communication and this had ruined our whole day! My husband is a pro member which apparently doesn’t meant anything to them!

DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES HERE. Bought a dishwasher bc I have a newborn and wanted to sanitize her bottles. Didn't get dishwasher installed until 3 days after delivery because I work and have an infant to take care of. Dishwasher leaks. Lowes can't do anything bc I don't have a Lowes card! I called GE for their warranty repair, yes, using the warrant after having the dishwasher for less than a week because Lowes can't help me after 48 hours, cmon. Well the appliance repair company didnt fix my dishwasher either after their visit. I'm now out the $600+ I paid for a broken dishwasher, another $150 for a SEPARATE bottle sanitizer, PTO from taking time off work to deal with this, and I STILL have a broken dishwasher. Awesome. Thanks guys.

Lowes in Highland Heights, Ky. Placed an online order around 4 pm on a Tuesday 10/28/25, app tells me the order will be ready for pickup same day I was skeptical but hopeful, either way that did not happen, not a huge deal since I really didn't need these items till Thursday. Wednesday... giving them the benefit of the doubt because it was a large order I wait till after 1 pm on Wednesday 10/29/25 to make my first call to the store, at this point I still had not received an email or a text to pickup said items. I call they were nice said "they were working on it give them another hour and it should be ready." Once again it was over 200 items over 5k in value which is a lot for a DIY guy like myself but didn't really think it would be a big deal for a large company like LOWES, gave them over 2 hours before I called back. This was around 3:40 on Wednesday almost 24 hrs since I had placed the order at this point had to call 3 different times listen to the phone ring a hundred time before someone finally pickup the phone I explained to this person what was going on and he transferred me to the proper department, I started explaining to this person what was going on at that point she remembered me and said they were working on it but it should be about finished she put me on hold and said she was going to check on it "hold tight." Well at some point while waiting for her to come back to the phone the call was disconnected, not a big deal Ill just call back.... Unfortunately that was the last time I was able to get ahold of anyone, called back serval times but it was like they recognized my number or something because it would ring then just go to hold music but no one ever picked wait for several minutes each time but no one picked up just hold music. Here I am Thursday 10/30/25 10:02 am and still no contact of any kind text, email, or call.

I have never had a worse experience in business in my entire life and it’s still ongoing. I’ve made literally over 120 calls with customer service pursuant to this order and no one can ever actually resolve anything. I contracted with Lowes to install 2 doors back in May. One of the doors arrived in the wrong color. We sent it back. They partially installed one of the doors but were not able to complete it because the brick molding was measured wrong. 5-6 weeks later the new door arrives. Find out that the molding was never ordered. They stall on setting an appointment. The door they partially installed starts to have paint chipping off of it. They say it’s a manufacturer defect. The door knob breaks locking us out of the house. They say they will come inspect it all and start a claim. They never did. 5-6 more weeks go by and I’m having to call every single day to get an appointment. Their subcontractor uses an AI scheduler that no one seems to have control of. The automated appointment scheduler finally gets one scheduled for October. The installers go to pick up the door that had been sitting there for months and it turned out to be the complete wrong door. They ordered a copy of the same door they had already installed. I asked if they could at least come finish the other door or give us that door to replace the defective one. They could not. I call back another week later. The new door still wasnt ordered. The warranty claim never initiated. The molding still not ready somehow. So we start the whole thing over again with assurances that everything would be handled. I call back again and it still hasn’t been done. No one seems to know what’s going on. So 23 weeks deep, I’m paying interest on a door that was never installed and a door that was only partially installed and is defective. I had to make over 120 calls to customer service, most of them requiring escalation to management. Most of them lasting 1-2 hours. That’s the craziest amount of time I’ve ever spent trying to fix an issue with a contractor. I wish I was exaggerating but I’m not. At this point I don’t believe that Lowe’s will actually be able to fulfill the contract. No one calls back. No one seems to know what’s going on. I have asked to just be refunded the full amount so I can hire someone else to fix their mistake. They have refused. A hundred calls to management has not resulted in any meaningful action. No one seems bothered by how incompetent this entire process has been, so maybe this will get the right person’s attention. Otherwise, maybe I can save other consumers from this nightmare. It’s been almost 7 months. I ordered and paid for 2 brand new doors to be installed. What day can I expect Lowe’s to complete this job to my satisfaction? Everyone in customer service and management says it’s not them, it’s not their fault, talk to someone else, they’ll get around to it, but who will actually take responsibility for this contract and just get it done? I just wanted two new doors. I thought choosing a larger reputable company would save me these kinds of problems. It’s somehow made them worse. I want someone from corporate management to call me and tell me what day Lowe’s will have this installation complete to my full satisfaction. No more run-around.
