    The front pickup guy (not front desk or garden crew) is a joke and doesn't care about his job or LOWE’S- he will dismiss you for expecting an online pickup order (PLACED 3 DAYS AGO) to be ready when picked up. CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING IS NEEDED!

    I have never written a formal complaint about Lowe’s until now…. Honestly I have maybe written 5 in my lifetime, but, enough is enough…My husband and I have lived in Georgetown for nearly 20 years and have shopped at this Lowe’s many, many times. We paid for some 2x6 and 2x4’s today and asked for those to be loaded while we finished shopping. We came out to a disarray of lumber after my husband asked if they could stack them next to each other which made it impossible to strap /secure them or add our other purchases. We were forced to restack and arrange the lumber which took a fair amount of time. We did speak to one of the managers as he was outside in the parking getting a cart….which I would hope is not his responsibility….but given the fact there usually aren’t carts available inside or near the building…. You have to guard your cart at all times to keep people from offloading your purchases and taking the cart. I had someone try to take my cart today. The aisles are so congested with merchandise that it causes the walkways to be “one-way” and many areas you can’t even get a cart through (near flooring). I can’t imagine that it isn’t a safety concern… In the parking lot, directly behind our truck and in the first 2 prime spots, there is a caged area for corrugated pipe??? Why would you place that where customers could have prime parking? He said they are working on it, but we have had very similar frustrations many times over the last 5 years + and have decided we will no longer support local and will drive to Hamburg Lowe’s or better yet, take a 25 minute drive to Menards in Richmond. Lowe’s could definitely benefit from taking notes from them. If you haven’t been there, it’s is worth the drive!

    Did several online orders for in store pickup. Everything went quickly and everything was ready and correct when I picked it up.

    I ordered 70 sheets of 12' drywall and had 70 sheets of 8' drywall delivered. Then I called and they couldn't help so I went in. They setup delivery for Saturday so I lost half a week. Then I get am email stating the delivery is scheduled Wednesday. They cost me a week and my crew charged me extra to install the 8' drywall that they delivered. If another supplier is available I recommend using them.
