Customer service has been much better. To spread the wealth even though I am not a contractor, I recently went to 2 lumber competitors of theirs in Danville: Lumber King and 84 Lumber. 84 Lumber had me wait 20 minutes even though I was only customer in the store. Lumber King was down right mean and nasty, read review. Lowes had better lumber even though Lumber King degrades products of Lowes and 84 Lumber.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
