- MWmelody weastJan 14, 20203.0Water rates are reasonable and the women who work are pleasant most of the time..i had one bad experience when my water bill went from $30-40 to $190..they automatically put me on the defensive by assuming it was my property's fault(like i had a water leak)..when actually the truck that rolls by and records the reading, had a glitch..that was explained to me by the driver, when he returned to do an actual reading..they wouldn't take my(reading) word for i,why would i lie ??.MY BIGGEST ISSUE, is the ancient way i have to pay the bill..i can pay ANY utility bill, online ,without a fee..i can call it in without a fee..BPWD will charge a fee ,unless, i mail a ck,to them,or drop by and pay by check or cash..it's ridiculous..AND THAT ISN'T THE LADIES FAULT,IT'S WHOEVER IS RUNNING THE SHOW

I have been on vacation and come to my water shut off after being 1 day late on the bill with no remorse. They charge $5.25 convenience fee to pay over the phone. If I had another option I would have dropped this company 9 years ago. Yes, that's correct, i've been a customer for 9 years and still get S*** on by them regularly. If you have the means for other water do so. My water bill was more than my electric bill this month.
