The receiver at the dock had an extremely bad attitude and acted like they didn’t want to do their job. Instead of helping or communicating professionally, they were rude and dismissive from the start. I’ve delivered to many Lowe’s locations, and this is by far the worst experience I’ve had. There’s no reason for employees to treat drivers or customers this way. Management really needs to look into how their receiving staff talks to people — basic respect and professionalism go a long way.

We were told by a sales person who wore lowes uniform that installation and delivery were free as long as we purchase the item locally, but hauling away the old machine would cost $50. We purchased the the dryer, but it was with another sales person. He was quite nice throughout the process and helped us getting the 20% off by applying for a lowes credit card. After paying and seeing the receipts, I saw a delivery fee of $39.99, so I questioned the bill. Little did I know, that we were going to be threatened with immediate rage. His entire demeaner changed while he raised his voice and said he doesn't recall ever telling us that. The store manager was standing right next to him. While it may be true, but the way he reacted to my remark was utterly unnecessary and unprofessional. We left the store immediately afterwards, feeling threatened and unsatisfied.
