On March 25th, I walked into the Topeka store to buy a refrigerator. The purchase went great, they told me it would arrive tomorrow within a certain window. She also told me they would text to let me know they were on their way.
I received a text saying the window for delivery was 3-7PM that morning.
At 3:03 PM I received TWO texts simultaneously: One said "We're on our way," and the other said "We are here!" I went out and found no one there but a slip on the door saying they missed me.
I called the local store who routed me to the dispatcher. The dispatcher rep put me on hold twice and said he'd call me back. He didn't. 20 minutes later I called back and spoke with a woman who yelled at me (?!) over the phone that they had tried to contact me "several times" and that "it's all recorded and logged." I asked when they called and she was unable to tell me when. I offered to send her my call logs which I had readily available, she said no but she would reschedule me. I requested a supervisor; she erroneously cold transferred me to the distribution center.
Distribution center guy said there was nothing he can do. No supervisor to escalate to, nothing. My fiance called and somehow managed to get a supervisor who told her that "They did not wait the 15 minutes they are supposed to," and that "Conversations will be had," but didn't acknowledge that they also didn't alert me when they were on the way, and I received no phone call. He said, and I quote "What happened to you was not reasonable," but said there was nothing he could do but reschedule it out for two days later, ruining my weekend plans.
Do not buy major appliances from Lowe's and if you do, for the love of God, hire someone else to pick it up for you.

I tried to leave this survey on with what the receipt directs you to do. However, that survey is blocked due to "dangerous Behavior" website. I do want to give a wonderful review for Darryl at the Topeka, Kansas location. Darryl always knows where anything and everything is. I am a contractor and occasionally have to send my wife to run to Lowe's to pick up a tool or a supply and I tell her "just find Darryl he'll know exactly what you need". He always does. Went to purchase a pallet of mulch and the unwillingness to open ‘quick load’ or just bring a pallet up so we could load ourselves was impossible. Jennifer who stated she was with customer service kept making excuses ..’it is February 28th so it is a little early’. For what?? You have it advertised on sale so you just lost $200 because of nothing but pure laziness and unwillingness to put your customer first!! Horrible customer service!! Horrible!!
Went to Home Depot — where they price matched and had it ready to load once we hit the parking lot!! We were in and out faster that Jennifer could make up excuses at Lowe’s!! And their customer service was awesome!!

Been to all 3 home improvement and could not find anyone who could help or even act like they knew anything. He said he’d only been working there one week and was a great help. You’ll receive an email with pickup instructions and the location of the store you selected when your order is ready. You can pick up your order during store operating hours at the designated pickup area. For your protection, only the cardholder or an authorized user of the credit card may pick up the order.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
