- WWWillDec 14, 20251.0I bought a new home and it has a closet system from the container store. I want to buy some additional components for my system, and the employees said that they cannot sell them to me because I did not buy a system from them. They said if I had bought a system from them even a year ago, I could buy more components, but they will not sell them to me. I said is there anyway I can buy components. I was told I would have to buy them from a Preston rep. I asked for that contact information and I was told they’re not allowed to give it to me. I do not understand the logic as to why they will not sell me components that they would be willing to sell to a different customer. Closets by design has the same components so I’m going to buy them from there. I will not be coming back to the container store for any of my other needs.
- ECEliana COct 8, 20251.0I did not feel comfortable in this store. I walked by a group of 6 employees chatting on sales floor. They all stopped and looked at me as I was walking by. No smiles, no friendly hello, just uncomfortable stares. Felt unwelcomed, not going back.
