    Another Update: Never heard from anyone so I called again. I was told they were trying to deliver the damaged door as a convenience. If I’d accepted it, I’d have been stuck with it. Every interaction was not recorded on the system so no one is held accountable. Supposedly, another door will come in two weeks. What an inconvenience! I’m the bad guy because I’d like a real date that is expedited. UPDATE: On Monday, Lowe’s delivered the damaged door. When I finally found someone who knew the drama, he tells me that a new door is coming from the manufacturer. So far I have no confirmation. Btw, I predicted I would not receive a returned call and I didn’t. I’d reach out if someone could actually help. Just one more poor review that won’t change anything. If I’d have known there was no management at this store, I would not have ordered a door from there. I get a call saying the door was damaged in shipping but “did I want it.” When trying to call back, no one knew but someone would call me. That didn’t happen. I went to the store and was told that I needed to cancel the original order and reorder. Thus, Lowe’s doesn’t refund for 4-6 weeks but I would have to pay to get another door. I said this was not customer service and they should reorder the door. I get a call saying the door was reordered. Today, I get a text telling when the new door will be delivered. Then a text saying that they will notify me 4 hours prior to delivery. Then, I got a human call asking if I wanted them to order another door. I call AGAIN and fight AI to get a human and I explain all of this and the associate asks if I wanted to reorder the door. It took 12 minutes to find a manager (presumably) and I’m told he’ll need to talk to someone else and call me back. That was 30 minutes ago. Wanna take bets on whether I hear anything or not?

    Do not buy an appliance from Lowes. I have purchased a stove, 2 dishwashers, and a fridge from them in the past, and ALL deliveries/installations were messed up. The lastest dishwasher was delayed 2 weeks, was initially installed broken, then tool another week for replacement. EVERY time we call, no one knows what is going on. We spent hours on hold over the course of 10+ phone calls just to get a different story each time. They use inferior contractors to install the items you spend thousands on. They also promised some compensation for our trouble which... surprisingly never came. I know they will respond with "reach out to customer service to discuss" but you can't get through EVER. I will not set foot in lowes again. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

    This is a tough review to leave because I really love this store and many of the great employees who work here. However, my poor experience with the Home Installation department has left me no choice. The Lowe's Home Installation process started off well, and the employee I worked with initially was amazing. Once I made my payment and the order was placed, the troubles began. My goal was to replace 2 original exterior doors, 2 sliding doors, and one window BEFORE the winter started. My order for windows and doors was placed on May 18th, 2025. It took almost five months for the doors and windows to arrive and the installation to be scheduled. The installers have been out to my house five times to install the windows and doors that were supposed to be installed in October. It is now January 21st (almost 8 months since I placed my order), and the work is still not complete. I was tempted to call out the installation company in this review, but they have done a decent job overall, and it is ultimately Lowe's responsibility to ensure that the installations are done in a timely and professional manner. Please do not hire Lowe's Home Improvement to install doors and windows at your home.

    This will be a longer review due to the circumstances that took place, but I will do my best to sum it up as best as I can. I came during the Black Friday specials. They had great selections of items, and I wanted to buy a couple of items for my new home and the value for the items were too good to not get. There was a deal where the more bigger home items (dishwasher, dryer, washer, etc.) you purchase, the bigger the discount is. I was uncertain on whether a certain stackable washer and dryer would qualify for the deal. I called a worker for assistance and they were able to get it all figured out for me. I was then transferred to another worker I believe started with the letter K. He was extremely helpful and really made the process fantastic which I appreciated. I was promised that everything would be delivered the next day which I thought was pretty cool. However, I received a call the stating that the dishwasher would be delivered on Monday instead of Saturday. This had me confused as it was promised for a different delivery day, and due to this, I had to schedule a day off of work. The Washer and Dryer were delivered on Saturday, however, they were unable to complete the job due to not having the stacking kit. The stacking kit was not automatically included with the purchase of the items, but it should have been included when purchasing a stacking washing and drying machine. It would still be a separate item to purchase, but it still was not on the consumer to know this information as I was informed that everything would come with the washing and drying machine since I was getting it installed from the delivery team (extra fee). Due to this, I had to wait until Wednesday to get this installed, which I had to take an additional work day off to be at my new home. If items have the potential of not arriving the next day, I would've 100% appreciated knowing this beforehand. When I spoke to a manager over the phone (forgot what his name was), I didn't really feel like he was truly apologetic. It didn't feel like they had the urgency and the importance to me as I thought it should. Especially for the inconvenience. He stated that he could take 50% off for the stacking kit. This made me feel slightly confused. I am unsure why I would still need to pay for a stacking kit after not receiving it initially and being promised other things that unfortunately didn't come as stated. When I arrived at the store, I spoke with someone at the front and let them know the situation. They were able to find my stacking kit in the back as the manager stated it would be, but I also saw Lisa (I hope that is the correct name. She was prior military), someone who my girlfriend and I saw in the area. Lisa is very kind, helpful, and has a lot of energy. When talking with Lisa, we explained the situation to her as we did with the manager. We explained how we didn't think having to pay 50% off for a stacking kit made sense as it was supposed to be with us originally and that I've had to take multiple days off work due to this. Not only did she make the stacking kit free, but she also took a portion off of our installation fee and items we bought which I truly appreciated. I believe Lisa is the standard of how customer service should be provided. We also saw the gentleman with the name starting with K and we explained the situation to him and let him know we were not mad at him. We also expressed our thankfulness towards him because of how helpful he was with making things smooth. He apologized for missing the stacking kit which we appreciated. There was another manager in the area when all of this took place, but he also gave me the vibe that he didn't really care too much about it. It seemed more like he was just getting through the day. We expressed our gratitude of Lisa to him, but he didn't react much towards it. Overall, I had a good experience. If it weren't for the instances related to the missing equipment, delivery times, and manager communications, I would have rated this a 5 star instead of a 4 star.
