Me and my company have been doing business at this Lowes for the past few years with generally a good experience. However, lately the service has gone downhill. We recently performed a deck project and had some leftover, unused materials to return. They refused the return because it was 7 days after their "30-day" return policy. So much for having a 365-Day return policy when purchased with the Lowes business credit card! Also there are no exceptions for ordered deck materials on their return policies posted online. They were aware that I have spent over $34,000 there THIS YEAR, and $100,000 at Lowes over the past 3 years, but are willing to lose my business to Home Depot over a few hundred bucks in returns. I reached out to the Store Manager and District Manager last week, and nobody has contacted me back. If you are a contractor or intend on placing a large order, you are better off shopping elsewhere for better service and appreciation.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order.
