  I hired Barthuly Irrigation for a residential irrigation system installation with an original contract price of approximately $17,000.Prior to installation, I repeatedly requested an onsite meeting with the operations manager to review the layout and coordinate around a fence project that was already marked out. I was never able to get that meeting scheduled.During installation, the irrigation zoning was changed due to the fence layout without discussing the changes with me beforehand. After the work was completed, I received a change order for approximately $5,000 because the system increased from 17 zones to 20 zones. I did not agree to the change order because I was never consulted before the zoning changes were made.There were also workmanship issues that should have been addressed during installation. Several sprinkler heads were not installed level, causing them to sit crooked when operating. As a result, some heads do not spray uniformly and the water distribution pattern is uneven. Proper head alignment is important for consistent coverage, and these issues have affected the overall performance of the system.The contract also included the first winterization service. Despite attempt to contact the company, I have not received a response regarding scheduling that service.While the system is operational, the lack of communication before making design changes, the unexpected change order, unresolved installation issues, and failure to respond regarding the included winterization service have been disappointing. I believe this project would have gone much more smoothly if there had been better communication and customer involvement before changes were made.

  Their irrigation system failed on the weekend via a backflow valve they installed. No emergency service or answering service on the weekends. Yard is flooded! However, both the owner and residential manager did pick up a phone mail messages. The residential manager worked with me over the phone to cutoff the system but it did require a plumber to come out and get the job done. Barthuly did dispatch a service call first thing on Monday morning to repair the system. So, my rating went from a one star on Saturday to a five star on Monday morning.

  We recently hired Barthuly Irrigation to install a brand new irrigation system at our home in Fishers, and we could not be happier. From early contact the entire team was professional, knowledgeable, and punctual. They maximize yard coverage and walked us through setting up the controller. The crew worked efficiently and cleaned up thoroughly afterward, leaving our lawn in great condition. If you want a top-tier sprinkler system installation with great customer care, Highly recommend!

  Service provided today by Barthuly representative Antwyne Barker was excellent. He managed all issues with water distribution, troubleshooting historical areas of my lawn where there is sun overexposure, and he answered all of my many questions with patience ( Thank You!).
