Appliances at Lowe's: Be aware that Lowe's only carries a 48 hr return policy on appliances. There's a reason for that. I ordered a refrigerator Dec 17th, delivered on the 19th. Everything was fine, I thought. That was a very bad mistake! It takes awhile for a refrigerator to settle in, but in this case the fans never shut off. I mean NEVER! Of course by the time I noticed it was on the 3rd day! Lowe's threw me to the wolves at FRIGIDAIRE! DO NOT BUY ANY FRIGIDAIRE APPLIANCES! THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTIES. I reported this to Frigidaire within a week. I have never received such bad customer service in my life. When I could understand the people speaking it was nothing but run-arounds and lies! They will make a ticket, nothing happens. Then the original ticket gets deleted and then they make another ticket. Every time this happens (4 tickets for me) it puts you out 3 to 5 days farther. Well to say the least my electric bill will be enormous and the FRIGIDAIRE refrigerator no longer works. It's setting in my garage. I had to go and get another one to replace it because FRIGIDAIRE NOR LOWE'S WILL HELP YOU OUT!!! FRIGIDAIRE SUCKS NOW!!! DO NOT BUY FRIGIDAIRE APPLIANCES ANYMORE THEY ARE TRASH AND SO IS THEIR FOREIGN CUSTOMER SERVICE! I have not talked to one clear English speaking person yet. I've made over 50 calls now! They messed with a grumpy old man that doesn't have money to just throw away! TERRE Haute Lowe's needs to stop carrying FRIGIDAIRE PRODUCTS!!!!!!!! It's a real shame, I've done business with Lowe's for years. NOT ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want a refund!!!

We needed some paint (I've never bought paint before). Tanner was great at explaining the selection and mixing process. He efficiently mixed the colors as asked and was extremely courteous to my party as well as others who were in the paint department. Extremely helpful. Even mentioned ways to make sure I could get the same paint color if I needed to come back for more.
I picked up a number of other paint supplies at competitive prices as well as a bathroom light fixture. The checkout staff was also great when it came to paying with an online gift card.
Great experience. First time at the Lowe's in Terre Haute.

I ordered doors from Lowe's to be installed. Paid for everything on Sept. 16. As of Dec. 5 I had heard nothing. Went to Lowe's on Dec 5 to get my money back. They said I never paid for installation. Really?!! $2500 for 3 storm doors and that didn't include installation?!! Most of the staff was very helpful and trying to make sense of the situation, but Heath was dismissive and rude. I will NEVER deal with Lowe's again and neither will my family. I had several other big projects planned for the upcoming year but you can bet I'll be going elsewhere!!
