Nowhere within one's account can an order be cancelled. Their chat service wasn't working so I called. I was placed on hold, several times, asked to speak to a supervisor and was eventually sent to a survey. I called again, waited the required 15 minutes to speak to a live person, again. I was placed on hold several times and then told the order could not be cancelled. I would have to wait to receive it and then take it to a local store for return. I ordered online as I did not want to drive out of state to pick it up. I asked for a prepaid return label instead, of which I was told had been sent to my email address. Didn't receive it. Then the rep tells me I have to take it to the store, I can't get a prepaid label, but she had sent one. What? There are many issues with Lowe's customer service, website, required information and no options to opt out of what is being forced on customers. I tried the link Lowe's is so fond of responding to reviews with, but it leads back to the same contact page of which there is no way to speak to Lowe's anymore directly than there was at the beginning. A wild goose chase. There is a reason Amazon is blazing the trail. I am willing to pay more for quality customer service through Amazon. Lowe's has lost my business.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
