- RSrachel schuler5 days ago5.0Assistant Manager (Thomas E.) was a huge help this weekend! My mom and I were trying to build a ramp for my senior dog to go off of the deck, we really had no idea how we were going to do it but Thomas was a huge help. He gathered everything we needed to do the project from start to finish. He was very personable and knowledgeable. He heard my vision and concerns, then came up with a great DIY plan. I appreciate that Lowe’s not only has everything you need for home projects all in one place but they have extremely supportive and knowledgeable people so you don’t feel lost when you walk in there. You leave feeling like you have the confidence to turn your dreams into reality.
- GNGrace Nyhuis5 days ago1.0I would give zero stars if I could. If you need to purchase an appliance and have it installed I would steer clear of Lowe’s! We purchased a refrigerator, paid a haul away fee for the old one, and bought new hoses as advised by the associate so that the new refrigerator could be installed by their people at drop off. My husband and I have bad backs and cannot move heavy things so we were adamant about making sure we could have the haul away and install services. The delivery guys got to our house and refused to take away the old refrigerator or put the new one in because it was attached to copper piping. No one ever told us that would be an issue or asked what type of piping we had beforehand. My husband said he would unhook the old refrigerator so that they could take it away at least and bring the new one in and they refused. We were the last delivery of the day and it was clear they wanted to be done and not deal with it. They were rude and nasty and would not wait for him to do it. We called the store and were told they couldn’t do anything because the product and delivery guys came from a warehouse. We called the warehouse and they gave us an unreasonable solution. At the end of the day they refunded the haul away fee but now we are stuck with the old refrigerator and have to try to figure out how to move the old one out and bring the new one in as all our food sits around on the counter thawing. Guess I’m just going to risk a 4th back surgery so that we can get this taken care of. We will go back to Home Depot next time for sure. I have heard horror stories from others about Lowe’s delivery and installation but now we experienced it for ourselves. Never again…

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
