- HHh1ker1Feb 20, 20261.0Don’t get any contracted services from Lowe’s They hacked up my kitchen remodel and refuse to fix it trying to give me $250 and sign a paper releasing them from claims or liability. Know that if you go with Lowe’s the just sell you the stuff you have to orchestrate all the work like a contractor. Choose a local contractor I should have. 👎🏾

Yesterday I barely got past the service desk and I was approached twice. I go to Lowe’s because I really like their tools. I felt like I was in a furniture store being followed by sales people. I guess they don’t know that if I want a service plan for my HVAC, I’m more than capable of finding one on my own. Time for me to find a new store.
- MMMikeFeb 17, 20262.0Lowe's is a decent store that's better than Menard's as of late. Why, then, do I give them only two stars? As a former store manager, I can understand the value of great customer service and having people available to help. However, the employees in this store have been told to be over the top to the point that it's unhelpful and a massive annoyance. This store hasn't always been like this but lately it's gotten out of hand. On a recent trip, I was asked no fewer than ten times between the main entrance and the hardware aisle if I needed help finding something. Several of these employees were close enough to the previous encounter to know I had already declined help at least once before they asked. This approach combined with the recent installation of the flock cameras near the entrances to the parking lot leads me to believe this store must have a ton of stock loss/shrink. If that's not the case, whatever management that made this decision needs to tone it down.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
