I was disappointed with my recent experience at the Michigan City Lowe’s. I attempted to return unopened, unused holiday lights that were purchased on December 2nd, and the return was denied.
At no point during purchase was I told that holiday lights were non-returnable, and there was no indication of this on my receipt. If there is a seasonal cutoff or special return policy, it should be clearly disclosed before purchase.
The lack of transparency and the way the situation was handled left a bad impression.

Impossible to find any help, staff seems more interested in talking to each other than assisting customers. When you can manage to get someone's attention, they send you to another person and you have to explain all over again what it is you are looking for. I went thru that experience three times this afternoon and finally just gave up and left.
