Leaf blower was sent out for repair to a company called Altaquip in Boilingbrook, Illinois and came back 3 different times not repaired with a different diagnosis each time. They tried to charge me about $150.00 dollars for rigged up diagnostic repairs and parts they claimed needed to be replaced, which is insane. Filed a complaint with Lowes store management and was disregarded and treated with hostility. Had to go to a Husqvarna repair dealer in Valparaiso, Indiana and my leaf blower was fixed for free under the manufacturer's warranty. The only problem was a gas line leak from corroded fuel lines which Husqvarna said shouldn't have happened since the leaf blower was only a year old. Lowes Protection Plans is a money grab which never covers any repairs. They always blame the customer for anything that needs repaired under their store warranty.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
