The employees at this Lowe’s location are truly excellent, and for a long time they were the main reason I chose to shop here. Every interaction I’ve had with staff has been positive, helpful, and professional, and I want to be clear that this review is not a reflection of the people who work at this store.
Unfortunately, I can no longer support Lowe’s as a company due to its decision to partner with Flock Safety and install Flock license-plate surveillance cameras at both entrances of this location. Flock represents a serious invasion of privacy, and there have already been documented cases across the country where such systems have been misused to monitor or track ordinary citizens rather than serve narrowly defined safety purposes.
Several cities have begun restricting or banning Flock systems altogether, citing concerns about mass surveillance, lack of oversight, and the creation of public records that can be accessed through FOIA requests in ways many residents never consented to. This alone should give a large corporation pause.
Again, this is not a criticism of this local store or its staff, who have always been outstanding. This is a criticism of Lowe’s corporate leadership for choosing to align with what I believe is a dystopian and ethically troubling surveillance model. Until Lowe’s reconsiders this partnership, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Nice and clean facilities but it was hard to find a tape measure in the store. Asked a employee and sent me down a aisle with no tape measure. I looked in the tool aisle but did not see any.
