- ABAlyssa BarnesNov 15, 20251.0Hobby Lobby? Not just this store. I came in tonight to buy eight knobs for a bookshelf with doors it is my son’s bookshelf for all his books he is 1.5 years old. My daughter also has a shelf for a few of her books. I was looking for knobs and decided on these because of the look. Typically I wouldn’t read all the writing on the tags except to see the price but I needed to do a special order because you don’t have the number I needed of these knobs. I’m so glad I looked. On the tag is says contains lead! What? Why would it contain that this is 2025!? This is so unsafe my son would have possibly even touched this licked his hands ect or the knob. Even adults should not be touching a knob with lead. Made in another country also. Hobby Lobby should be doing better than this. I will still shop here because I love your store but I was shocked, hopefully the one star review will at some point be read and I get a response from someone on this matter. I took pictures of another knob and looked at a couple more they did not have lead. I’m wondering how many have lead now in your knob handle section and how many in my home I purchased from you through the years have lead. I may get a test kit to see and get back with you.
