- AAAlyse AlvisAug 1, 20251.0This is the worse place to rent a storage unit from! From the way they treat customers, to the units themselves, but they also STOLE some of my items. I had set up a payment plan once, paid around half of the payment plan when I originally set it up, the next next day they sent me an email saying that they received my move out notice when I was still in fact renting from them. That was the first time they cut my lock. The next time they cut my lock, I had spoken to the office and they said they thought I had moved out and forgot some things! I never told them I was moving out, and I hadn’t set up a move out date! Then last week, I move out… my white rose bear has been stolen, along with some of my TY beanie babies. I didn’t realize that they were going to have pick of the lot with my things. If I had abandoned the stuff in the unit, sure take what I left and do with it what you like, but to steal my things while I was actively RENTING the unit, that’s another form of low and sleezy. They took my bag that was protecting my beanie babies from the elements, and put what they left in a BOX and freaking MICE go into the box. Whatever you do, DO NOT RENT FROM EXTRA SPACE STORAGE at 2225 E 10th St in Jeffersonville! And if I had the ability, I wouldn’t have even gone this place a 1 star rating. Who knows how long ago they stole my things, and they probably won’t reimburse me for the items they stole! Find a better place to rent from, because this place steals and cuts locks before you can blink!
