My boyfriend surprised me with dinner and an evening here for my birthday this year. The House & Gallery: The property is stunning. We spent an hour just walking around looking at all of the staging around the house. The outdoor section was the true highlight, with the magical drive up to the house and the pond in the back. The Restaurant: My boyfriend and I both got a steak (him a Ribeye and me a Filet). They were some of the best steaks we have ever had. (This is coming from farm kinds that usually eat fresh beef, and nothing can usually compare to that). My boyfriend will still randomly bring up how good the steak was and how he wants to go back just for that. We split the Truffle Fries. I really enjoyed those. You do have to pay for all of the sides separate from the meals. While they did have a few cheaper options, this restaurant is VERY high end and expensive. Overall: I would recommend dressing up, even just to walk around the house. Business Casual / Cocktail Attire. I would be prepared for the true expense of the restaurant if you plan on eating here. To me, if felt more like an experience than anything. It isn't your usual dining setting.

The house and setting is absolutely amazing. Truly one of the most remarkable properties in Indianapolis. However, I’ve been there 3 times with friends and each time I’ve certainly felt age discrimination. Thinking it wad a one time occurrence, I’ve attempted to dine there 3 separate times. At 26 years old I could understand the reservation of our group purchasing the furniture (although some of us have RH furniture in our homes), but the overwhelming feeling of age-discrimination during our dining experience each time had been noticeable by myself and my friends. I’ve dined in groups of 12, 4, and just 2 the final time. Each time we leave feeling the same way, which is disappointing considering the money we’re spending. The food is average for the price range, but the experience is less than expected. If you’re over 40, you’ll have a great time.

If you tell them it’s your birthday they’ll bring out a candle on a plate lmfao the food tastes like it’s from GFS, compared to other locations this is not a place you want to eat lol.

If the driveway leading up to this beautiful structure doesn't WOW you, the inside of this grand place will leave you speechless. From my salad; which is prepared with diced lettuce, and other ingredients that helps to fit the food in my mouth and not waste time cutting clumps of lettuce, to my entree; the salmon wasn't over-cooked, so it was moist, to my dessert and hot cocoa; I have never eaten a banana split, with a caramelized banana, ice cream, whipped cream, drizzled with caramel and even the hot cocoa was the best I've every drank, better than even my own - everything that I put in my mouth was pure decadence. Miss Maria made our first time there very enjoyable. She is patient. She is efficient, and she is very personable. Mr. Jared showed us around a bit and he answered whatever questions we had about the place. This place is a hard Balance of GREAT food and atmosphere.
