    Catherine said she was going to help me after I had an awful time in the lumber dept…..I asked 3 employees for help, luckily the fourth did help me. After that Evan was told to help me. He wasn’t very happy about that. The cut wasn’t the right measurement. After I was bullied, instead of help I was encouraged to leave the store. Return the wood. And then come back to the customer service desk?????? I don’t get it

    Had an awful experience in the lumbar dept. Katherine told my partner and I that if he went back to the store they would help us and make it right. However that isn’t what happened. Bullying is NEVER ok

    made a purchase at the Lowe’s on Rural Street in Indianapolis on Saturday, October 18, for a GE front-load washer, dryer, and two pedestals totaling around $2,700, with delivery scheduled for Monday. When the items were delivered, the dryer glass was cracked. I immediately called and was scheduled for an exchange on Wednesday. When that delivery arrived, it was also cracked in the same exact spot. I called again and expressed my frustration, only to be told by the store that since the item was fulfilled through the warehouse, there was nothing they could do and I’d have to go through the distribution center. A third dryer was scheduled for delivery on Friday. I even asked for the item to be inspected before delivery to make sure it was not damaged again. The delivery driver checked it before unloading and, unbelievably, it was cracked again in the same place. At that point, I declined the delivery and requested a full pickup and refund. After several calls to Lowe’s customer service and the store, I still haven’t received the level of help or care that should come with spending thousands of dollars. On top of that, I missed three days of work (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) waiting for deliveries of damaged products. As a Lowe’s cardholder, this was my first major purchase and it has been beyond disappointing. I’m now waiting for pickup and refund, but this experience has completely changed how I view Lowe’s. The lack of quality control and poor communication from both the store and delivery team were extremely frustrating. I truly hope Lowe’s improves how they handle damaged items and customer concerns in the future. ◾️Update 10/28/2025 ◾️◾️◾️◾️ Following the multiple damaged deliveries, and after finally receiving a damage-free product—after missing three days of work—I reached out as the Lowe’s (owner/manager) asked me to, so that someone could assist and help reassure me as a valued customer moving forward. Unfortunately, the customer service representative I spoke with was unaware of the situation. She offered a $50 gift card, and when I declined, she increased it to $100. I explained that the issue was not about compensation, but rather the inconvenience, time lost, and the lack of proper communication throughout this entire process. I also informed her that I would be calling back by Wednesday to let the team know whether I will keep the items or have them picked up, as I am also a Home Depot cardholder and can take my business elsewhere. This level of communication and customer satisfaction from Lowe’s is not what I expected, and I hope this feedback helps address the service gap I experienced.
