The manager of the store was a white man, and I am an African American woman, and he followed me around the store while I was shopping. He pretended to be fixing some of the store’s décor, but he wasn’t—he was watching me the entire time. He and another woman waited at the front door until I paid for my home décor items. I felt heartbroken. I just wanted to shop in peace and get some home decor so my family and I can enjoy a beautiful home. . This experience made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected. I would never shop at Hobby Lobby again. I rarely write reviews but being racially profiled is absolutely unacceptable.
